We've Got Butterflies!

Hey!

Our caterpillars have gone through their metamorphosis's. Right now we have 3 butterflies in the habitat. We've put in orange slices and flowers sprinkled with sugar water for them to eat. We will probably set them free over the next couple of days, so check back for the "butterfly release" video.

We've got chrysalis'!

Check it out! All 5 of the caterpillars formed into cocoons. In 7 to 10 days we will have 5 Painted Lady butterflies.

Check back soon for more chrysalis vids and pics!

Caterpillars are Growing!

Hey Everyone,

Here is an update on the caterpillars. For those who don't know Skylar's has bought a butterfly habitat and ordered Painted Lady caterpillars. We have had them for over a week and they are getting much bigger.

Check back for more updated video!

Surprise Visit!

Hey Yall,
We just had a surprise visit from Uncle Stevie. Me and the girls were painting in the floor and we heard a knock at the door. And it was Stevie. He sat in the floor with us and started painting. Him and I talked for a bit, and the rest of the time he, Skylar, and Maya (somewhat) worked on a painting together. I just watched them painting together. They all worked great together. It was really cool. It was a very nice visit and a nice change in our regular routine.

Anyway, thanks Uncle Stevie for the visit, the girls really enjoyed it. And so did I.

Our getaway!

Mary and I took couple of days for ourselves earlier this week. We went to Pennyrile State Park and had a really good time. Hiking and relaxing was our goal and we reached it. Anyway, just thought I would post a quick few words. My sister has posted a couple since my last and I have to keep up with her ;-)
